Maximum production capacity calculated in ticketed segments
SKYTOOL 4 IATA AGENCY is designed for an annual production of 2,500 segments, the cost of which is already included in the Annual Licence Fee. The number of segments that can be produced can be increased to a maximum of 5,000 with an additional fee per segment produced beyond 2,500, making it ideal for agencies with low or medium volumes wishing to digitise the process without introducing unnecessary complexity. Higher annual production volumes require the use of the SKYTOOL 4 CONSOLIDATOR platform.
GDS AND NDC AGGREGATORS – LOW COST
GDS systems remain the primary technical infrastructure for booking and issuing tickets, for both Edifact and NDC – Low Cost products.
With the SKYTOOL 4 IATA AGENCY contract, it is also possible to use the NDC – Low Cost AirGateway Aggregator, which implements the NDC fares of around ninety airlines.
These two product sources can also be searched in parallel mode, for an immediate and optimal presentation of results that allows for the immediate selection of the best solution.

Non-IATA agencies connected as SUB-AGENCIES
They access the service via a Sub-Agency Account linked to the IATA Master Agency, which allows them to use their own rates agreed with the Airlines and issue tickets via their own IATA code, as well as access NDC and Low-Cost fares, whilst retaining full control over what is produced.
The operations of sub-agencies are defined and controlled by the permissions set by the master agency, as are the mark-ups and agency fees. A variety of payment and collection methods are available. These include using a wallet or paying online via a merchant.
